Hill Patru Architects is a London based architecture and interdisciplinary design practice.
We work with private homeowners, landlords, developers and local authorities on individual homes, new-build housing, retail and hospitality and public realm projects.
We help our clients add value to their sites, produce design that passes the tests of use and time and create architecture that responds to the people who live and work in it.
Our team’s experience covers both small scale residential projects and large mix use schemes, from planning stage to detailed design and construction.
Team
Maria-Elena Patru
Milena grew up in Transylvania and studied at the ‘Ion Mincu’ University of Architecture in Bucharest, ‘La Sapienza’ in Rome and then at the Bartlett School of Architecture in London.
Milena and Adrian met while working at WGP architects in West London. Milena has also worked at Round Robin Studio after having started in practice at Apunktplan in Romania.
Milena is a lecturer at the University of Innsbruck and leads a design studio.
Adrian Hill
Adrian has been a UK qualified Architect since 2009 having studied at the University of Portsmouth (RIBA part 1), University of Westminster (RIBA part 2) and Oxford Brookes University (RIBA part 3).
Prior to setting up Hill Patru, Adrian was a Senior Architect at Waind Gohil and Potter Architects (3yrs), Cousins and Cousins Architects (3yrs) and The Manser Practice Architects (6yrs), leading a number of high profile residential and mixed use projects of varying scales across London and the South East.
Adrian is a registered Architect with the Arb and member of the Royal Institute of British Architects, he also runs a design studio at London South Bank University
